our county fair has a "Hall of Flowers" contest display in one of the huge buildings. Local landscaping companies compete for prizes on a set theme. It takes them around 6 months to set up.

There are at least a dozen exhibitors. Same building we use for the train show

Then the heirloom seed folks show up and do a whole vegetable event at a different time.

If you hear the sound of the bell which will tell you that Grigori has been killed, if it was your relations who have wrought my death, then no one in the family will remain alive. They will be killed by the Russian people. :prays:

Wow, that looks really amazing. It's interesting to hear what they do at different fairs. At our fair this last year, there was a booth where they were making those triangular oriental hats where you could watch how they do it, and selling them. Not a big thing, but I thought it was interesting. I'd never seen that there before. There was also a company that makes pre-fabricated homes (a.k.a. trailers) that had a furnished model home there on site that you could walk through.

Another interesting thing is the types of fair food in different areas. Here, besides normal carnival food, there's seafood, lots of fried alligator, boudin, and smoke trucks selling BBQ ribs.
