I love the fire set, Nice use of the quad. Collecting  ;D
From an adult pov i can understand, but my daughter really loves that purple & pink princess set. So it comes down to the Same point: PM is made for kids. They love it.

For the non-pcc members: these were allready announced for pcc members some time ago and discussed somewhere else  >:D :shhhh: :shhhh: :shhhh:

thing about those colors is: would kids love it less if it where in more realistic colors?

But yes I have to agree about it being rather poor for anniversary sets. There just does not seem to be a link to it at all, it just seems like a regular batch of supersets.

Rereleasing old sets might not always be good since classic clickies just are a bit bland, but considering sets this size they could have done nicer things.

What if that tournament set was using the nuremberg guard heralrdry for example? or included updated versions of the very first jousting knights they released?

They could also have rereleased some sets from the early ninetees of that size.

schleich (or whatever its called) knight sets are extremely realistic in realistic colours, and kids still love them. yet another pass for me, and i really hate those bases. such a waste of plastic, space and money.
