Astronaut from Mystery Series 3 5243- quick question

I bought the Astronaut figure from an ebay seller (not sealed in a foil packet) so I am not sure if it is complete. Can anyone confirm whether or not there is a part which fits in the hole in his back? NB this picture is not from the seller I bought from!
