Some more photos at work
« on: April 27, 2013, 15:21:41 »
Hey folks have got a back log of photos that I've taken of the BTCV gang so thought I may as well start a new topic

First off I wanted to make some space for some stuff under the sink in the toolroom so I had a clear out and found a few watering cans, some washing up bowls including one which was rather slimy plus a whole lot of damp rotting wood which went in the skip, hidden amongst all this were 3 BTCV mugs with quite a nice simple design they were a bit dusty but, I decided to clean them up our boss said he had a cupboard full of them and that I could keep them so my friend and me have got 1 to use and I've kept one hung up in my bedroom

They were also very excited about my new book in fact one fo them couldn't wiat to look inside ...

Hopefully it should improve my tool fixing skills some what since between me and my friewnd I'm the rather unskilled assistant, enthusiastic yes but, skilled not particularly  :-[ some of the things in the book amused me like easychairs are a good way of reducing noise , I'm sorry but, I think that's going to be a no go even if we did have space for one down

Getting ready to join in a bit of bramble bashing I think they may need that chainsaw we've got some big ones up there

Following our Volunteer Meeting the other week I set straight to work making a record of the tools we're using and repairing and working on a overhead plan of the toolroom, the guys wanted to have a look at what I'd been up to unfortunately I don't think they quite understood the concept ...

... It's not a real toolroom for you to put your tools in  8}  ::) ah well full marks for effort at least they're trying to be helpful  :-[

We were tidying up some brash piles earlier this week and we were working in a forest full of wild garlic I must have had a blocked nose because I couldn't smell it and I know it's got quite an overwhelming smell when you get up close in fact sometimes I can taste it in my mouth as well
