We discused this before, but cannot remember where  :eh?:
There is a rumor Lyra was first to produe these hussar hats, but others say the design was given to Lyra from Geobra because they did not want to produce the hussars at the time... Later on, when Lyra shut down, it was either Geobra who took the Lyra design hat and reproduce it or, Geobra again, took the Lyra designed hat and reproduced it with their sets... what actually happened, your guess is as good as mine...

Apart from this, there are many questions about LYRA and also,I have learned some other information. If the topic was renamed to LYRA generally,I think it would be better.
I know that LYRA closed to 1988 or 1989.In about 1983 it had problems with Geobra,so it started to release their own codes including L.There were made some mixes from other sets,in order to create new sets. Also it was planned to release these sets in South East countries. For this reason, there are arabic letters on the boxes.
However I have some questions.Which year LYRA NEW sets started their release? At the boxes it says that it's product of 1978,but I know people older than me,in the age of 26-30 years old,who were fans of playmobil, and they were seen these LYRA new sets in 1989 for the first time! And also some sets which released in buckets instead of boxes, but I saw these in 1992 for first time! Here is my question! If Lyra was closed in 1988 or 1989,the production of the sets was continued??????

I think we have find the answer.LYRA stopped produce sets similar to Geobra sets at 1988 (last set was 3771 that released in 1989) but then produced LYRA NEW sets until 1996.Greek wikipedia also says that LYRA stopped production of sets NEW in 1996.Maybe Geobra had sent to LYRA 5580 figures and hats,or sculptures in order to produce 5580,while  they remained in factory,so it constructed exclusively greek sets with remaining parts.

The older greek fans maybe are able to confirm that first saw LYRA NEW sets and early 90s,maybe 1992???
