They look like refrigerators to me! But I honestly have no idea what a Playmobil refrigerator looks like, since I've no modern sets or parts! :lol:

It's a cool display though. :)

Thanks everyone!

And pynedor is the winner! The counters are refrigerators from 5329 - Grand Kitchen. I was at a loss for counters to use, so I decided to get creative. They are a little tall but worked ok other than that!

It looks great. I don't think the mansard roof would be out of place, the era is correct and towns with pretensions might well have had a more up to the minute Victorian look to them. For a store though I think you're right about it not fitting. It seems to me like it would be better with a saloon on the ground floor and a bawdy house above.
