Maybe they could be used to ring a gong? Though I reckon the mallet for the gong has a softened end, something like cork or a small leather bag stuffed with hay?

quite lame for a kung fu exponent...maybe Geobra was hoping to test the Chinese market,hoping they'll buy them as good luck mascots perhaps 'Brave' or something else would be more appropriate...then again, maybe 'Lucky & Long Life' is the name of his kung fu school

yes arnaud...I have seen them use smaller versions for gongs maybe this can be for an even larger gong for signalling during samurai battles

Luck and long life? That is a bit strange. Something like "brave" or "strength" would be much better. At least it doesn't say peace and joy or something!

i think someting loke that but in fact the mailler is not the best to go with ....       your custom will maybe be good for that , i haven't much time to look on the web , but my "visual memory" say there's someting near .
