in the king's court, we play to the bluegill .
« on: January 19, 2012, 23:25:06 »
en ce temps la , les joueurs de crapettes a la court du roi avait le visage farde en blanc , des perruques , ils jouaient a la crapette et se mettait des "mouches" sur les joues .
oui : faire des customs c'est jouer avec des stereotipes !!

in the time, players of the sunfish in the court of the king painted their face in white , they played to the "bluegill" (with trad ) and put "fly" on the cheeks.
yes doing customs is a bit like playing with stereotipes!

In the end, we will conserve only what we love. We will love only what we understand. We will understand only what we are taught.

I never understood why they put white makeup on their faces back on those days...
But these are great looking customs... more like ghosts, but still very nice!

Interesting,
I did know about how they powdered their faces but never thought of doing it... :)
Very cool! You have done a great job with these!

Looks like the ghost pirates found fancier clothes and started playing poker.  ;)

Great customs! I remember hearing somewhere that back in those times some of the face powder contained arsenic so it enhanced the pale sought complexion. No wonder they looked as white as death :o!
Forget about all of the other stuff,....all we need is the reintroduction of the 3526 Fire Engine!

Wow! Love the white faces and fly spot on their cheeks! Very coooooool!
After two decades of male toys (esp. Lego and PM) in our house, it is time to build something for us women!
