spot the mistake!!

The flags are flying correctly. That was the first thing I checked.
They have to point towards the same direction as the wind is blowing the sails. Got told off once by my husband when I put them on one of my own ships the wrong way.

I can't work out the error, but I'm eager to find out what it is.

This is an old one this is, I brought this to peoples attention elsewhere a few years ago, so I'm sure I know the answer.

The black Pirate in the crows nest has white hands.

During the change from fixed hands to twisty wrists for adults around 1982 it would seem that the only ones they produced where white hands at the time this box image was set up.

the handcolor is wrong.
i went running to check on my 3550 (still in the shipyard awaiting for original string) but the african pirate had brown hands.
i think that only in this box the color is wrong.
you have a very good eye.

Didn't know it was an old one, i saw it a few days ago and just had to show you boys and girls.

I don't understand why they didn't correct this to begin with, if the right colour hands weren't available during the photoshoot they should have coloured it with a permanent marker or something.

I hope you all found it a nice task.
