Schleich!

I had read lots of positive opinions about Schleich products in the forum, so I decided to buy:

Tournament set (lances with stand) and a tower.

I was speechless!

The quality is excellent and the scale is almost perfect, playmobil are 1:24, Schleich is 1:20

The lances are beautiful, majestic.

The tower left me breathless (I'm thinking of buying the castle for a few euros), the plastic is very hard and durable, perfect for dioramas in the garden to avoid ruining Playmobil parts.

Compared to legos, where the compatible accessories market seems very prosperous, no one has decided to create a business on products compatible with playmobil

Schleich is great, yes...

Problem is, it is even MORE expensive than playmobil. And here is also harder to find.

I checked the prices:

Ebay.com second hand castle well above 100 euros (2 tower, 1 gate, some walls). Sellers from EU and USA.
Ebay.it second hand castle (from Italy) 40 euros. Sellers from Italy.

Same as for Amazon

I imagine that in Italy they have not been very successful...

That's what I mean. At those prices, better to buy playmobil.

There are still a couple of sets I'd like to have, but have little hope.

It's like Sylvanian - great stuff, but expensive as Tartarus. If you can find it.
