The infamous red house which was never produced. Well it ended up as a DS article a few years ago of course.

Great imag!

The bakery in green and the small space shuttle in blue, definitely not usual production pieces.

Thanks for the all the pics of all these wonderfull old catalogues, scenes and adds!  :)

Hmm, maybe I am completely wrong, but I did not recognize the hat the lady at the far left side of the ad wears on her head. It looks like some kind of medieval white helmet . But perhaps I am mistaken.

The visible prototype-part you mentioned that didn't get released (back in the 70's) is indeed the lady's hat.  ;)

Resistance is futile, you will be boarded!

Apparently from the little i know this red house was hand painted as at the time it was very difficult to produce with the available dye technology ( I thinki have read this in the collectors book ..) A green bakery/shop , all the bits are there to make it apart from the green walls for the front house wall with the market opening . A great idea this would be for someone to custom made this !!!!

There are some more unknown parts like for instance the Eurotrans truck was never produced like this and in the medieval scene white shields with red emblems can be seen. There are also some signs that were never produced.
