Playmo Pirates & Castles in the Snow
« on: February 26, 2011, 21:18:47 »
It's been snowing the past few days here in Tac/Seattle Washington, USA, so I took some pics of my Playmobil outside in the snow.  Didn't really have time to take many well-composed pics cuz I was chasing rugrats...I just kinda put it in the snow and snapped the picture, lol, but enjoy!

Oh, and this will be the first debut of my 99% complete 3750 I restored to nearly "mint" condition for only US$17!!!  Along with my custom HMS Sentinel (used to be a Skull Ship), and only PARTS of my 3268 Castle (too lazy to bring all the walls outside).  (and oops, I just realized I accidently left the hoist rigging attached to the longboat, sorry)

Ok, enjoy :) :

The Snow Castle Looms magnificently over the snow-covered land, presided over by the riteous and mighty knight, Sir Antoine de la Madrid....

Just off shore is the H.M.S. Sentinel governing the local icey waters that protect the Snow Castle.....

Making its way through the treacherous icy waters is the privateer ship turned-pirate, "The Treader"

The corrupt Lord Nigel Huffington III, formerly of the East India Trading Company, and sponsor of this privateer-turned-pirate expedition, is being transported via longboat, preparing to board The Treader to review and oversee ship operations and protect his investment....

Watching Lord Huffigton's arrival from his command post on the quarter deck is Captain Horatio Boudoir, now a mercenary, and once original owner of "The Treader."  Boudoir is now nothing more but a pawn in Lord Huffington's diabolical scheme.  But Boudoir cares nothing for his cause, nor does he care which side he fights on;  all he cares about is his ship, and his ability to sail it across the open seas.

However, neither Horatio nor Lord Huffington were prepared for this chance encounter with the H.M.S. Sentinel patrolling the local waters of the Snow Castle.  Lord Huffington's curruption is about to be exposed!

Sadly, lol, I didn't get to finish taking pics, and now the snow is mostly melted!  But hope you liked!!  :)

Very nice, Atto! These pics don't look thrown together at all. They're excellent.  :)9

Excellent setup Atto! If it had been me out there, it would had nothing but foot prints showing everywhere! :-\
Forget about all of the other stuff,....all we need is the reintroduction of the 3526 Fire Engine!

Thanks for the kind words :)

actually, there are some footprints...it was hard not to with the rugrats rapidly overtaking the fresh snow.  That's why I had to stop taking pics, cuz after only a few pics the snow was being tromped on and scooped up into snowballs, lol.  At least they had fun! :)  (you can check out my video of the snowday in the PFZ Humour section http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pm2b_HjOeF0
