You know last time I said that the 'half armour' plate was my least PM accessory ever? I was lying! The stupid 'underpants' belt that can be seen on one of these klickies is my least favourite one! What in the name of Rudolph is a barbarian doing wearing a red diaper?
I'm also not a fan of the diagonal belt with the whatchamacallit attached to it, the likes of which can also be seen in this picture. Said whatchamcallit is always falling off. Very very annoying.
I have to agree 100% with you BB, the loincloth belts are OK when they're on a Jungle Native or Roman Gladiator for which they were designed, but just look ridiculous on any kind of knight. Putting them in bright colors does not help.
The shoulder belts aren't quite so bad when they have a neckpiece to hold them in place as in this set, but they're the devil when thy're just hanging loose. As you have odbserved above, the clips attached to them as often as not are too loose and spin round or drop off altogether, spilling their contents. I much prefer the one piece swordbelts for security, though a dab of warm glue can help secure the shoulder slings and clips.
Thanks for the review Elric! I have avoided this set so far as I'm overflowing with similar klickies, and the vertical crossbow is indeed strange, as Playmofire observed. It doesn't fit on the towertops of the big dragon castle, and has to rest lower down where it has a restricted arc of fire. The lack of wheels also means it can't quickly be adjusted for field of fire. It is a strange article.
