For those of you not resident in Germany, but wishing to work your way through the registration process on the Playmobil.de website (so you can see the prices), you could always try this as an address:

Willy-Brandt-Straße 1, 10557 Berlin

and use this telephone number:

0180 272 0000

Of course, Bundeskanzlerin Angela Merkel might be surprised when a bunch of Playmobil catalogues show up on her doorstep.

She's the current Chancellor (Prime Minister) of Germany: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angela_Merkel.

The address I suggested is the official residence of the German head of government in Berlin. So my suggestion was along the same lines as putting in 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in the US, or 10 Downing Street in the UK.

Hi,

Can't really take credit for the idea -- I was inspired the film 'The Blues Brothers,' in which Jake and Elwood give their address to the police trying to give them a speeding ticket as 1060 West Addison Street in Chicago. Which is Wrigley Field (a baseball stadium, if you're wondering).

Somehow the idea seemed to fit, and I thought the Bundeskanzleramt in Berlin would be suitable for this purpose.

But of course, it would be very, very wrong to give a false address like that
