The only way I’ve gotten it to work is t drill a hole into both pieces and through the figure, then wire it shut.
It will then never come off the figure again, but it will be stable. ¿Maybe ask one of the Americans (or others) if they could order one for you?

Maybe it was, as said before, it became brittle because of sunlight.

Melting with candle, is that strong enough? Doesn´t give you a prominent seem?

And a candle is plenty strong enough, the plastic is very thin. :o

Well, after sometime, problem is finally solved...I found on ebay four of these belts!!!! So, case closed!!! Thank you all for your ideas and help  :wave: :wave: :wave: !!!
