I heard in addition to that of a reason why Playmobil & LGB in the 90s no longer worked together:
There would be probably some differences between LGB and Playmobil.

One point is not right or not detailed enough:
turning loops can be made with LGB tracks (analogous), but you need some electric »tricks« to make it:
• turning loops modules
• »anything with diodes«

The reason Playmobil went on to make the R.C. trains was the ECC regulations that state trains that pick up from the track are not recommended for children under eight years old.
If fact Playmobil made one set that had this on the side of the box in 1998.
If Playmobil fell out with LGB can some one tell me why they were still making moulds for LGB in 2002?

Which moulds did Playmobil make in 2002 (for LGB track, I think, not for the company LGB?!)?
