what's the plastic like? similar to that of the old figures?

Well, here's the breakdown if it's any help:

8 adult figs have the date 1974 stamped on their feet
2 twin boy figs - 1981
2 twin women in workout gear? - 1992

The plastic feels slightly matte (less shiny) on the 1992 figs.

thanks tlc for the details! :)

Woudl love to have such a box for mediaval theme. The cost of old farmer / worker mediaval klickies is phenomenal !!!!

yeah, it'd be awesome to see an add-on with old medieval klickies...like the jester, a water carrier, a robin hood, farmers and NUREMBERG GUARDS OF COURSE!! :D
Enjoy the elegance and fun of 1900 with The Victorians photo story! :gent: ;D :sherlock:

just like the klickies i have in my mediaval set ups that i call ' cannon fodder' ...
That made me laugh when I read it. I've since seen a Playmobil peasant today on EBay advertised as "peasant / knight fodder".

I must confess that we are likely to buy a bag of 7128 assorted figures at some time as we are always in need of passengers in the coach and plane, bystanders in the street and in the park, and extra parents.  And there always have to be some casualties and witnesses in any scene which the emergency services attend.
