I hope you all like my new avatar figure which was revealed (
completely 
) for the first time in
Jochen's photo story.
I decided to put the tail-thumping beaver into retirement a couple of months ago, following comments from several members who said they would prefer to see me return to 'human klicky' form (you know who you are!
).
Choosing an avatar figure is not always easy, and I spent several weeks just deliberating over what type of figure I should use.
After discounting many half-baked ideas, I eventually decided it would be best to keep things simple and create a custom klicky that closely resembles my usual day-to-day appearance.
Simple doesn't mean compromising on unique features though, and when
Jochen and I started discussing the creation of PF logo decals for the
birthday gifts, it prompted ideas for other possible uses... such as printed t-shirts!
Here is a close-up pic of the figure showing the decal which Jochen kindly applied to the torso and some of the additional features I painted on (jeans detailing and t-shirt collar). I'm very pleased with the result and very grateful for his help in bringing the project to completion.
