old sea dog
« on: April 15, 2008, 13:13:48 »
 Hi ,

To go along with my young adventurer I made a old sea dog,
and after sailing so long he has lots of stories to tell ,{notice
one of his bullet things are missing}.

Hello, Seawarrior ...

...  I made a old sea dog ...

Your "old sea dog" reminds me of someone. Wonder who that could be? ...

Love his seafarer's outfit ...

All the best,
Richard

LOL, he's also holding his right hand back to front, with the fingers on the inside.

The "bullet things" I've always taken to be powder flasks for recharging his pistol. They may contain just the powder (the actual bullet carried elsewhere), or they may hold  powder & shot paper-wrapped cartridge.

Ahoy, Seawarrior!

That's a cool looking old salt.
I like that he is teaching the young ones the lore of the sea :yup:

Best regards
Jimbo

The slightly blurry photos add to the effect--make me feel like I'm as drunk as a seadog!

Cool!

He certainly looks well-weathered from his many years aboard a ship. :yup:

I really like the pics of him entertaining the children with his stories. :)
