Net curtains from the old mansion
« on: March 09, 2020, 16:52:13 »
Hello all. First post in eons and I have an impossible query.  8}
The ‘net’ curtains from the attic of the old Victorian mansion, were they ever used in any other more recent set?
I’ve found two parts numbers for them, 30 05 981 or 30 05 9810. Both are now listed as discontinued on the Playmobil spare parts list.
Mine have crumbled from old age. :'( :'(

Welcome back, Nessie! Sorry to hear your curtains are disintegrating!
Those two part numbers are the same. In the early days, they used 7 digit part numbers. These numbers still work on Find Spare Parts on the PM website, but you have to add a zero to the end to make it 8 digits.
30679360 was a similar part, issued for 5301, sadly no longer available either.
At that moment the ship suddenly stopped rocking and swaying, the engine pitch settled down to a gentle hum. 'Hey Ford.' said Zaphod, 'that sounds good. Have you worked out the controls on this boat?' 'No,' said Ford, 'I just stopped fiddling with them.' (With thanks to Douglas Adams)
