Okay, here's a picture I took of the new arrival this afternoon.

Such a great set - the tree really is awesome (and much bigger than I expected!).

I've already managed to find a home for it in my forest.

I agree. It is utterly superb. I particularly love the old guy but the tree is wonderful too, as are the rabbits, basket bottle, etc.

I have wondered what the backstory is - there is always a scenario hidden in each set. The grey-haired one and the boy are obviously the goodies, and - because of his evil glance - the red-capped figure (with the wonderful neck piece  ) is bound to be an evil agent. But what is the soldier's role? I haven't checked but the box art might give a clue - I have pictures if you are interested.

I really hope they will make that one available at DS too in the future, already looking forward to getting the hunters. The merry men feast was not in DS for long oddly enough.
