french grenadiers settle for the night
« on: October 06, 2007, 21:37:01 »
the evening has fallen, and the grenadiers settle themself for the night.
Dinner is cooking and many tales are being told, with no "last glass of wine" in sight... A tired sapper comes to join his mates:

Very nice, I particularly like the sapper figure. The photos are all a little out of focus though, are you having problems getting the focus right?

I use a small digital camera (Pentax Optio S6) on macro focus, and it usually comes out crystal clear - my main problem is getting enough lighting without getting massive shadows.

very nice small diarama. More light is always better for photos. If you don't have macro you may be better off getting farther away from the figures so you can get a good focus and then cropping the image down to the part of the scene you want.

Nicely done, TT, with great attention to detail.  I, to, like the sapper custom.

Tim and Martin are right about the focus and the solution to it.  The other possible cause is that the camera is focussing on the background.  Try to focus on the closest part of the scene.
