Anyone know of a British store that ships to the US?

My methode: search for a shop, e-mail them, and ask polite if they will ship outside the UK.
(In this way I have found two train model shops that supply me in The Netherlands).

I will ship items to you, if that is helpful. If I can save costs (e.g. by picking items up from store myself) I will do that, but as you know, UK to US shipping is not always cheap!

ToysRUs (obviously) and Smyths are two main chain-store retailers in UK.
Also Tesco, Argos, John Lewis stock playmobil- sometimes exclusive sets.
Playmobil.co.uk may also have different stock from the US website.
And Amazon.co.uk is worth a try

If you search for a specific set using Google.co.uk, you may pick up a bargain!

Hope that helps!
At that moment the ship suddenly stopped rocking and swaying, the engine pitch settled down to a gentle hum. 'Hey Ford.' said Zaphod, 'that sounds good. Have you worked out the controls on this boat?' 'No,' said Ford, 'I just stopped fiddling with them.' (With thanks to Douglas Adams)

I've used mailbox.de to ship to the UK from Germany - the shop delivers to them and they then send it on to the UK. Someone might offer a similar service from the UK, though it won't be cheap I imagine.
