Circus set 3727 Lion Trainer and Lions
« on: May 30, 2015, 19:50:40 »
I am trying to work out the fences for this set. There are 8 curved fences forming the performing arena, plus a tunnel arrangement for the lions to get from the cage to the arena.

Is one of the 8 curved pieces specially shaped for the tunnel to join (this is the case in the later sets 4061 and 4233)? On the box picture , it looks as if the tunnel joins to a doorway piece. PlaymoDB lists the set contents as 7 curved fence pieces and 1 curved doorway piece with door.

If anyone has this set (or the building instructions) can you please enlighten me?
At that moment the ship suddenly stopped rocking and swaying, the engine pitch settled down to a gentle hum. 'Hey Ford.' said Zaphod, 'that sounds good. Have you worked out the controls on this boat?' 'No,' said Ford, 'I just stopped fiddling with them.' (With thanks to Douglas Adams)

Look here, there you can see the details:

It´s exactly as you said. On doorway piece with door and on without for the tunnel.

Thanks for that, Daniela. You are right, the tunnel piece fits into the doorway. It's quite a tight fit, but works well, providing you get it in the right place:

Thanks
