Bent elbows
« on: June 20, 2015, 00:52:12 »
I know most of us squirm at the sight of these bent arms but a cleaned up blue arm can go on a Napoleonic or Civil War "blue-coat" or even my Manchu Qing guard.
I can't wait to use them in so many of my themes....even the green arms might join my Civil War sharpsooters.
(Tahra, remember when the "Speedo-dad" torso came out? We had lots of exciting custom ideas with them. ;D)
I'm surprised there's no excitement at the sight of these :P

I've never seen those before; presumably, they are from the NHL sponsorship series.

It looks like those gloves don't come off.

If next is individually movable legs....I will go over to the Lego community.

Some of the new doll like woman figures are already borderline to me...Playmobil becomes nothing more than an exchangeable toy. But the uniqueness of the brand gets lost to me.

Glad I have thousands of figures to enjoy me in the future coming years.

Cheers,
HDL

Totally agree....I still have my Lego to go back to...they are also boxed up in my new cupboards.
And also no slim klikies for me...I've got a few red Indians and Speedo dads...
And like u...I have enough regular klikies to play on....those Super4? etc can come n go...those printed eyes....I'll just ignore or change them....this new team is killing playmobils uniqueness to compete with others.

Still.....I think this is the bent elbows I have said for a long time now, that will make it possible for a Fi?ure to hold a golf club or baseball bat....so I expect to see them sooner than I thought.
As for bent knees, I only need a few...for a few kneeling rifle men or wagon or war elephant riders....so it won't affect my collection at all....bring it on...if I don't like them I just don't buy like what's happening now.
