response to missing parts
« on: February 20, 2014, 07:58:16 »
Hello.

I just purchased the 6330 Viking Longboat, but it only came with 5 oars. I e-mailed them via the website, but do they usually have good response? Do you think they'll send me the missing oar? Has this happened before to you? Will I have to send the whole thing back and get an exchange?

They send the missing part.

normally they will respond an send you the order-form for DS.
When you fill that out and mail it to them, just have to wait at your mailbox ;-)

I had a missing cylinder-head for a motorcycle. After sending the orderform, i received the part yesterday  ;D

I purchased quite a few of the FAO Schwarz Victorian Set 5955 and had issues with worn printing on the figures and even missing parts in one set. When I emailed Playmobil (more than once) I never heard back. And this has been months.  ::)

UK DS simply take your word for it and the missng parts arrive within a few days without you having to be sent and then complete an order form and return it.

Robbie, have you chased them up on this?  You should do.

Thanks. I e-mailed them, and they sent me a reply saying they'd send out the missing piece. I haven't gotten it yet, but it's only been a week.

What was the problem? I have not opened most or ours and am wondering if now I should check them out?
If you hear the sound of the bell which will tell you that Grigori has been killed, if it was your relations who have wrought my death, then no one in the family will remain alive. They will be killed by the Russian people. :prays:

One set was missing one of the roof finials. Also, at least one figure in each set wasn't perfect. Most of the figures with printing on them were scuffed up pretty bad. One of the lovely purple ladies (with the exclusive white collar) had a huge black mark on her collar which even a Mr. Clean Magic eraser couldn't remove.

Wow, that is a bummer  :o indeed.  Sorry about that.  As a last resort have you tried non-acetone nail polish remover?  It might mar the gloss of the surface though.

In my experience, it takes around a month for them to send the part. Hope you are patient.  ;)
