Are these Playmobil-cats?
« on: January 14, 2014, 10:33:05 »
Hi,

I found this picture on a sellers website. I haven't seen these cats before. I mean the white and black one looking up. I like their tails!

Also the kittens look a bit different to me. Since I couldn't find them on Animobil I am wondering if they're really Playmobil. Does anyone know?

Thank you!

They are LEGO cat and kittens. They actually fit pretty well size wise it looks like. At Bricklink.com they are Cat 6175 and Cat Crouching 6251

Thank you Tim! They are cute but I think they look more like tigers compared to the tiny LEGO-man...

Those are Lego cats. They look the same scale as playmo and even the look/design is so similar. Are they part of the Lego series that are not mini figs sized, friends or something similar?

The kittens were used in regular sets too, but they had Belville sets aims at young girls where the figures were much larger, so maybe they came from those.

One interesting use of the kitten, too is I had a Lego model car set, and a kitten was a hood ornament.
