Very nice looking figures reminds me of some very shiny paints I got in little pots as part of a set as a kid  :)

Thank you for all your positive comments, I'm afraid I am very critical of myself and wasn't too sure if the tartan was realistic enough.

Very neat custom work Elaine! Is it nail polish you used for the dresses?

No Arnaud, it is a paint I use for my craft work, called Luna Lights.  It can be used on a variety of materials and gives a lovely pearlescent finish.
When I painted my original figures I just used it directly on to the plastic, but this time I sprayed all the parts with a white primer.
It took at least 6 coats to achieve the finish I wanted - some colours seemed to give better coverage than others - the lilac seemed very thin and I thought it would never cover although I have used it before so knew that eventually it would be OK.
I have in the past used this paint on glass and once dry it won't wash off.

I really wanted to bid on these, Elaine, I've been looking at them. I just have no money at the moment but will soon. I would be very happy if you made more!

I'm pleased you like them Bonnie, I can sympathise with having no money - that's why I'm selling because I need to buy so many extra things this year.
Which one was your favourite or did you like them all?

They are all beautiful, but the pink one and the purple one were my favorites!
