Yesterday I was at a used children's clothing/consignment shop looking for overalls for my son. (He's going to be Bob the builder for Halloween). I ended up spotting two giant bags of playmobil Castle sets up in the rafters. One was 3268 and the other was 3666! They were both $60 so of course I bought 3666.
I have never owned a true steck set (just two western forts). But after building the castle I must say I was impressed with both the design and how well steck stays together. (Not to mention how heavy it was!) The castle had about 95% of the pieces (mainly missing ascetic pieces) but sadly all of the figures were missing. However it came with another small bag of figures and I'm almost tempted to go back and buy 3268 with the hopes that maybe the 3666 figures are in that bag, as it was probably the same person who sold all their playmobil toys in a large lot to the store.
Regardless I was happy with the set and had to take it all apart quickly to hide it, as will be a good Christmas gift for my 5 year old. I'll spend most of my time now trying to find the missing pieces.
