Stone age family, part number of little boy?
« on: February 22, 2013, 08:41:21 »
Hi there!

I was hoping that someone here might be able to help. I just received the Stone Age family (set 6242) from an eBay seller, and the arm of the small boy was broken. I would now like to order the boy figure from Playmobil's customer service department, but need the part number to do so. I can't find it on playmodb or on the Playmobil site. Any other ideas how I might identify his part number?

Thanks  :)

It's on playmoDB here:

http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=6242

In the list of themes it comes under Prehistoric or you can query on the set number.  But maybe when you looked it hadn't yet been added to the site.

The arms are probably the same as the indian boy: 30 10 2990 - Boy, Indian

You can call the parts department for your area and tell them you need to get the part number for a replacement order. They can look up the set by the set number and tell you the part number for anything in the set. That's the only way to get parts numbers for some types of sets like 1-2-3.

The reason there's no part number on playmodb is that add-on sets like this don't usually have instructions with part numbers. But like Tiermann says, since it's actually a part that came broken and you're just looking for one part, they will be willing to look it up for you.

My apologies,  :-[, I didn't look too closely at the page, just that the picture was there.
