A truck needs to be identified!
« on: August 30, 2012, 19:30:06 »
Hi, I saw an awesome truck, but I'm not sure wich set it is. Can you help?
I don't have a picture, but it is a black sort of power truck with a few flames on the side. It has horns/toots/hooters on the front and two hooks, one at the front and one at the back...
And is it (very) rare or did I just randomly missed this set?
Thank you anyway,

I don't know... sorry. I'm mostly off ebay (I'm VERY DANGEROUS there), so I don't know..

Actually, we were just talking of getting rid of ours yesterday.. I HATE the darn wheels. Would be AWESOME with normal wheels...

I had to stop. If you look on THE PROCESS on the common room you'll understand :-[

I think it looks wrong, cause the underside of the car doesn't fit the wheels. To me, it looks silly.... But hey, matter of opinion ;)

It's not that rare, but would depend on which country I suppose

According to the collector, First released 1998 - 2001, and then again as set 4097 in 2007 (as a German exclusive, but it made it to other countries including the UK)

3994 - Power Truck

4097 - Power Truck

I don't know anyone who likes those wheels!

Damo :)

Well, gues I'm "special"
I know it looks a bit off, but I kind of like it. I think it makes it looks 'cooler' (not the word I completely ment, but I don't know the word in english... tougher maybe? ) But indeed, a matter of opinion  :)

I must say it is rather fun to play with. It bounces around the garden nicely on those big tires! :D
