That is curly hair from the Dürer exclusive. 
Ah, okay! I knew that it wasn't totally unfamiliar. I do remember seeing that now. It's funny because they used the same mould as the chainmail coif for it, so it looks like a rusty one! Coifs are just head coverings, like in the Middle Ages there were leather coifs, metal chainmail coifs, and such.
