Finally our dream came true. The first collector's diorama in Greece took place in Playmobil Funpark in Athens. Giorginetto,Wolf Knight and me brought our playmos and built a beautiful diorama. The theme was western and there were too rare items, too expensive and items from our childhood.I'm very happy and proud that i was part of this effort.
-
The Playmobil Hellas was very hospitable and helpful.I think that they enjoyed every moment as we did.
-
The space for the diorama was not too big but you have managed to put a lot of playmos!!
-
It was a difficult task as we had a lot of children around us.!
-
Absolutely frigintastic! (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v321/luwerner/gif/notworthy.gif) (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v321/luwerner/gif/notworthy.gif) (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v321/luwerner/gif/notworthy.gif) (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v321/luwerner/gif/notworthy.gif)
Congrats to all of you, you did a terrific job (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v321/luwerner/gif/clapping.gif)

George brought beautiful and rare items as the Train Station, school house, his beautiful train,a fully equipped Indian village and an enormous army of Southern infantry and cavalry.
-
Panos brought a lot of houses as Bank,Hotel,Saloon,Sheriff's Office,Silver Ranch,Goldmine and a huge Northern infantry and cavalry army.
-
My participation was not so big as the other guys because as i'm not a western theme collector,so i have brought my childhood's toys. The Fort Randall and a guard of 70's-80's American Cavalry. Also a lot of our stuff left in boxes as there wasn't enough space for all.
-
Also i want to mention the beautiful customs of cowboys and western ladies from Panos and the historical accurated figures of southern army leaders from George. It was fun but you can see the fatigue on our faces.
To next Diorama!!!
Please Panos and George add your photos too!!
I HOPE TO ENJOY OUR DIORAMA AS WE DID!!!

WOW amazing display, guys! :wow: :wow: :wow:
What an amazing display you have created in such limited space :inlove:
Such rare and precious items as well
Oh, and nice to see the large protective screen to guard these treasures! :yup:
Damo :)

A magnificent display by you all and surely an event Hellas Playmobil will want you to repeat on different themes. Thank you for the great photos, Angelo, which let us share in this event. I especially liked the Union troops barricading the for gates.
-
Wow, what a fantastic display. :wow: :wow: :wow:
It was amazing what you managed to fit into the space.
You must have all worked extremely hard - how long did it actually take you to set it all up?
Was it just for the day, or is it to stay there for longer?

Awesome, awesome, awesome, you guys! It turned out really well, soooo much detail! I know it must have been a great deal of work, even if there were three of you working at it. It's gotta be hard to coordinate everything and not get in each other's way, too.
Thanks for the pics, angelo, and we can't wait to see your pics, too, Panos and George! Nice to see you all.
-
Thank you all!
It was hard but we are a very good team. The actually time was 3-4 hours. We were very well prepared!!

Magnificent work gentlemen! What a brilliant demonstration of the enthusiasm of the adult collector!
-
WOW!! I'm blown away by how awesome this is!!! 8-) :D
-
The display is very cool! 8-) I'm not collecting Western anymore, but along with pirates and knights it was my favourite theme as a kid! ;)
It does seem a bit crowded, available space could/should have been a bit bigger? Did you guys know in advance how much m2 you were gonna get and did you have a chance to see the display-area before designing how to set everything up, or was it improvising at the moment you got there?
-
AMAZING diorama!
I love the step by step pics, thanks Angelo!
And thanks all the guys for all this work which took more than four hours actually. They've been planning and working for this for months!! Very well done guys!
-
That is an amazing number of Klickies in such a small space! Very well designed and placed, and the Western theme is appreciated by all. Congrats on such a fine debut at the Greek FP...may there be many more, Pgal

Just seen this. It is amazing guys. The display area is indeed small and it is a bit crowded but not to the point of overflowing.
It's great to see what a team of like minded individuals can accomplish.
Here's to hoping Playmobil Hellas thinks it's a success!

Went to the funpark today, bought a few goodies and checked on the diorama, i set up a couple of klickies that had fallen and put the cannon wagon closer to the train, everything is fine ;) ;) ;) ;)

George, I really can't imagine what the funpark may have in stock that you still haven't bought, unless you guys are getting new releases before Germany?
:P
-
Whoops! Late to the party! Anyways, great diorama! Wish Playmobil Canada would do something like that... :(
-
Good to hear there were only a few things that needed righting, that's very encouraging news! Have they put up ropes or increased security around the diorama in some way?
