Hi
As I've posted somewhere before, I've a small collection of mostly customized knights, I think about 40 knights or so...
Here are 3 of them, others I hope to show later...
First one is Sir Christopher II...
I bought the German exclusive and I love the horse and the knight's shield, but not the klicky (the armour-colour is bad quality)...
So I made a custom one with also a lion as heraldry to go with the horse ::)
-
2nd one is "Sir Lancebit"...
Thanks to a very kind and helpfull member of the forum, I got the headpiece for the horse! :thanks:
-
Last one, he never talks about the war...
-
That last one is really great! Interesting combinations of this latest white caparison from Ritter Christopher and the red lion tunic!!!
-
Great work, Hadoque.
-
Great customs Hadoque, I think everyone in the world will agree with the fact that the klicky for Christophorus could have been better chosen :-(
-
Very nice medieval customs sire !!!
-
Great job, Hadoque! Beautifully presented. ;D

Thanks guys :)
Here come a few more, though nothing special compared to work from some specialists in customizing the Medieval theme ...
A French King and his 2 sons:
-
This knight is my version of "Godefroy de Bouillon".
During the crusades, he captured Jerusalem and became the reighner of the city. Here is some history on this real character:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godfrey_of_Bouillon
-
Some Crusaders, a Templar and a Saracen (Arab) knight...
-
And last for tonight, a purple and a blue knight.
I like giving some knights longer dresses, and luckily there are now metal-coloured shoes from the fairy in blister-set 4128 to use on their legs.
More later...
-
Hi Hadoque,
All very, very nice!
(And apologies for not having commented/complimented earlier -- life's been a bit crazy recently!)
Cheers,
AndrewL
-
All these look great! My fav arms are the armour arms!
-
Great customs, Hadoque, especially the Saracen.
-
Great customs François!
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
I love these knights with robes. Unfortunately, I never managed to catch that purple dress, the only one I have has small sparkling golden thingies that don't fit too much with a knight...
Good nexs these silver feet exist, though I won't buy a princess blister just for those!
The shield of the Saracen does it, though it's more a celtic design than arabic.
Best,
Arnaud

yesterday i saw a guy with a long white dress in the street ::) ;D
-
Heeey, it's New York City! You never know what you'll see!
These are some great customs, Hadoque! Well done.
-
Thanks for the comments :)
@Arnaud:
yes, buying the blisters for a pair of shoes only would be over the top. But that specific blister contains other parts I need (the lady in purple, blond poneytail hair, bare klicky-arms, necklass in silver, cuffs in gold, etc...)
@Playmo1989:
Long dresses (ending somewhere between the knee and ankle) were quite common for men in medieval times, and before.
Playmobil uses these longskirts f.e. for the 3 Wise Kings in the recent set 4886 and older similar sets.

-
great customs!!! keep making more!
-
Looks great, specially the crussaders and the sarracen, but Richard Lion's heart and Salla-Hadin are missing!! ;D
-
All great Knights! :wow:
I especially live using the long tunics too. :)
Some Crusaders, a Templar and a Saracen (Arab) knight...
Just one little fix... :-[
The second person in those pictures there is not a Templar.
Templars only wore red crosses,
Through there were some in black as well as white tunics,
they were the Templar sergeants.
The person you have here is a Teutonic Knight.
Made popular for their campaigns in the Baltic region,
there were also Teutonic Knights in the Holy Land,
Though they didn't have the same power or influence as the Templars or Hospitilars. :)

All of these customs look really superb, Hadoque! :)9
-
Very smooth customs Sir, once again. It wont be long you are converted to the Steck / Mediaval religion i am sure and declare also 3666 ' holy ' ......

( only kidding )
-
I must admit I didn't use to collect or customize knights (I was just interested in the steck-houses and castles, furniture, and civilians to customize into 18th-century ones), so I am being more & more "infected" by the Medieval theme you could say...
The 3666-castle and the steck-houses are on my list of favourites, George, but as you know for me nothing will ever beat the 3940 & 5135 ships... unless a trimaster-version of those would be released! ;D ;)
