here a making-of of my space shuttle. I hope you enjoy it ;)

Cut wings into 3 parts

The airplane body is cuted just behind the plate separation

Separation plate (which bear the shuttle motors) is cut and returned.
Die Trennungsplate wird geschnitten und umgedreht (um die Motoren befestigen zu können).
La plaque de séparation (qui supportera les moteurs) est découpée pour pouvoir la retourner.

Motorschutz. Das graue Teil ist das hintere Teil der Flugzeug (1. Versuch... nicht bestätigt...)
Protection des moteurs. La partie grise est récupérée lors de la découpe du fuselage (1 er essai non concluant)

Drill a hole to attach the arm (System-X)

Complet fine sanding and hide the unit the parts that should remain the original color
Komplett feinschleifen une blende die Teile aus die die ursprüngliche Farbe erhalten bleiben sollen
Poncer entièrement l´appareil au papier de verre fin et cacher les parties qui doivent rester de la couleur d´origine

Primer (Grey) and first coat of white paint
Grundierung (hell grau) und 1. Lack-schicht (weiss)
Une couche d´apprêt et 1ère couche de peinture blanche

Let dry completely. Hide the parties to be left blank and painting the underside of the unit
Komplett trocknen lassen. Wieder die weisse Teile blenden und untere Teile der Shuttle lackieren (Antrazit grau)
Laisser sécher complètement. Cacher les parties à laisser en blanc et peinture du dessous de l´appareil

Overview. The front window is hand black painted. The shuttel roof is cuted
Ansicht. Der Front-scheibe ist schwarz lackiert und das Dach abgetrennt
Vue d´ensemble. Le par-brise est peint en noir à la main.
Le toit de la navette est découpé pour pouvoir ouvrir seulement la soute (et laisser la cabine de pilotage fermée)

Part 2

here I show you the electric part. I use the original electric system of the space engin, box nr. 3080. Everythink is ready, I do not have to change something (Electric connections, please read before a building instructions) :icon_biggrin:

Hiermit zeige ich Euch die Beleuchtungsanbau. I habe die original Playmobil Teile verwändet (Schachtel nr 3080). Es gibt nichts zu ändern, die Verkabelung ist schon richtig (um die Kabeln richtig einstecken, bitte die Bauanleitung vorher lesen)

Ici je vous montre la partie électrique. J´ai utilisé le système électrique d´origine de la boîte 3080. Il n´y rien à modifier (pour les branchements, merci de lire la notice avant).

VERY COOL! The only strange thing are the windows on the side. Those look a bit strange on a space shuttle!

This version of shuttle is made for the transport of sattelits or any else big parts, but not only... I hope to show you some other pictures where you can see a different possibilities of use. I´m just looking to the people able to pay 1.000.000 USD for the ticket... :lol:

Awesome use of parts!  Nicely done.

Is it 100% Playmobil parts?  It's great any way you look at it, but I'm even more impressed if the entire body is just from the one jet.
