Title: NGORONGORO SAFARI
Post by: Richard on June 18, 2006, 14:03:36

If you're interested in Playmobil's Ngorongoro Safari theme from the early 1980's, click HERE (http://passion-playmobil.net/phpwebgallery/category.php?cat=31) for a look at a nice diorama that was set up for the French Playmobil convention !!!

(There are also Western, 1900, Roman, Medieval and winter theme dioramas.)

I love the Safari theme, but have been unable to find a whole lot of it since I started collecting too late. But I did just win an auction (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6065454020&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&rd=1) a few days ago - so I will be getting the old style yellow truck with trailer - I cannot wait! :D:D:D

Nice lot you got there, Henry. 8-) I guess that tiger is slightly lost though. ;)

The safari theme is a favourite with me too. :)

And that diorama from the French convention looks great! Lots of ideas that I can borrow one day when I have room to set up a semi-permanent display.... I hope. ;)
