 :)hello everyone.
i just joined.
i am a pirate collector.
i have just now (today, actually) completed my collection.
apart from a few spanish-made items, i have all the pirate items playmobil produced.
the 3550 boat is still in the shipyard, still missing a few pieces (original string, new stickers, flags).
i have now a problem - i don't really want to start collecting another theme.
pirates is really the one i like.
i think i will just patiently wait for some new pirate items.
it is a pleasure to be on board. ;D

I am envious to hear you have more or less a complete collection from the Pirates theme. 8-)

There are still a few ships and other sets on my wanted list, and the older ones (like the schooner) will probably be staying there unless I get very lucky on eBay one day. ;)

You are lucky, the entire pirate collection... WOW  ;D Pirates used to be my favourite too, but lately I've been drafted into vikings. And they need enemies, so the knight-theme is in my interest also. I guess something like that will happend to you too  ;)

Almost complete except for the Spanish sets? What an amazing achievement - congratulations! I AM envious, as Richard predicted.

And I am sure, like you, I am eagerly waiting to see the new pirate sets that will be coming out in the US. I am wearing out a path to the Target store from going to check every day! :D

I have a correction to make about my pirate collection - I also miss the color yourself sets.
All the others Richrad listed on the "pirates" link I already have have (not the 9989 spanish set).
I am sorry, Captain Henry, to make you jealous.
One of these days I will start to photograph all the sets ant theis boxes and instructions.
Soon (I lost the USB cable) I will show you my collection.

the pirates theme is a great theme to collect.
It is an achievement to have a complete (or almost complete) collection.
I shall warn you to stick to one theme.
Its gets expensive, and then you have even more palymobil to figure out how to store or display.
Geobra is not about to phase about pirates, so there will be new ones coming soon.
Just be content and keep playing with your toys.
