Now there are 391 files!
Building Plans (http://store.playmobilusa.com/on/demandware.store/Sites-US-Site/en_US/Search-Show?cgid=Bauanleitungen)
It looks as if all the new ones have just been added to the end of the list, starting with the last 2 items on page 46. :)

Hello Gis! I just amended my post to say that the new sets start on page 46.
-
:)
That makes things ALOT easier
-
good to see the playmobil websites are becoming more and more complete everyday 8-)
-
Ehm... guys? How do we navigate through any pages? I see none... :-[
-
It looks like they are mainly the Soccer sets.
If you click on See All there should then be pagination across the bottom of the page

Yup, that's all that's new: sets 4700 through 4724. If you search for "soccer" you'll get them all except
4702-Additional players, 4703-Girls' Team, and 4704-Goalie. I'll update my downloadables reference page (http://playmodb.org/downloadable.shtml) tonight, and add 4719, which is the only one I'm missing.

There seems to be a problem viewing this with Internet Explorer, but Mozilla Foxfire works fine. :)
Woops - meant to say Firefox! ::)

There you go Panos, another reason Firefox is better! (http://smileys.on-my-web.com/repository/Firefox/firefox16.gif)

The Building Instructions repository on Playmobil.com (now available via DE, AT, US, and UK, all identical) is now up to 462 sets, adding mostly sets from 1998-2001. Some big additions include 3023 Fort Eagle, 3079 Space Station, 3112/3288 Naval Stronghold, and the alternate plans for 3019 Dream Castle (but not the originals ???). It also appears that they've fixed the browser-specific navigation problems (in IE8, anyway). Go get 'em!

Thanks for the heads-up, Heather! They must have made the change this morning as the number was still at 391 yesterday.
-
That's awesome! Thanks for telling us!
-
thanks too Heather!
a bit of task finding out what the new additions are but its worth the pain :P
-
Okay ... it's official now ... I'm getting annoyed.
Am I doing something wrong here? If there's more then one page then I can't find a option to scroll on. I get a maximum of 8 sets in a page and that's it. Am I the only one?
Bogro ???
-
Nope, its the same for me as well... I can't see whay that has anything to do with explorer...
-
Well it works just fine for me, using firefox. Maybe I should try with internet explorer and see what I get.
-
Ok, I just tried with internet explorer, and I do have that problem, there's no way to get to the next page. I'm telling you, panos, firefox rules! (http://smileys.on-my-web.com/repository/Firefox/firefox17.gif)
-
Firefox is internet search god :wow: :wow: :wow: :wow: :wow: :wow:

I am using Firefox... it's much better.
-
I'm sorry guys, I just dont see what's the big deal... I see no difference, and I don't like the buttons etc...
-
The difference is, without firefox, you can't see the instructions on playmobil.com!

Firefox is far superior , sire !!!

The plan-count in the official repository is now 593 - and includes the surprise figures 5203 and 5204 on page 58! Almost no part numbers, but clear indications of what comes in each bag.
Busily downloading...

I'm really confused as to why they're putting up instructions of long retired sets when the parts are likely long gone from the warehouse.
-
That's strange I hope playmobil db continues to grow and becomes part of the official playmo clun on an internatonal scale etc. This superb database is the bible for all playmo fans and I hope geobra supports and recognizes this awesome work and links it to the club. I don't see the rationale of playmo usa doing this, perhaps some employyee do this who love playmos
-
People still get second hand sets that they don't know how to put together and need the instructions. Complex set especially, like the palace or castle sets.

:shhhh: Don't spoil it! ;D
I think that Heather at playmodb is very happy that they are doing this, so that should comfort you a bit, Giorginetto. :) I believe a long-term goal is to use the plans provided by Playmobil (which are usually much better than scans or photos of printed instructions) to fill in the gaps at Playmodb and, ideally, to improve the photos of individual parts. Also, playmodb has never provided the full instructions for sets because that was against Playmobil's wishes. Now Heather has created a bunch of very useful links to the official Playmobil plans, as you can see here: Playmodb's page of Instructions Downloadable from Playmobil. (http://playmodb.org/downloadable.shtml)
Maybe Playmobil decided to set up this archive of plans because so many people, including the PCC pilot group, asked for it. Also, remember all the furor about the building plans website in The Netherlands that got shut down and the campaign (started at Klickywelt, I think) to re-instate it? I like to think that Playmobil is doing this archive because they are responding to the wishes of the collector/fan community. :)
