Just come across two unoficial Playmobil apps on the Apple appstore, created by Juan Carlos Santiago Vilas.
I am a little reluctant to purchase as I am not overly sure on wether they are any good, but it looks like a Playmobil art gallery of some sorts.

No, I found them on the appstore using my phone :-\
If you have an ipod touch, an ipad, or an iphone, then they are found by typing 'playmobil' into the search function of appstore and they are at the bottom of the list

I have none of the above. The fad has not yet died down enough to bring the price of these units down to their realistic price of under $100
Nothing came up on a search of the web

I just looked. They are FREE to download. One is entitled "smile :)" and the other is entitled "playmofans" and they are by 'Juan Carlos Santiago Villas'.
His descriptions say these are his first apps he's ever made and to please be nice when rating them. It's obviously a fan app. It might be just the beginning when people get the idea in their heads.
(on an aside, I used to think Apple products were just overrated and no different than anything else - then I actually got an ipod touch (generation 4) not too long ago to help organize things in my life (school work, lists, address book, ability to check email on the go and a platform to listen to decent music and audio books) - well after trying it I am absolutely amazed - the build, the workmanship, details, functionability, especially the ease of use - well, I ended up buying another for my wife and an ipod nano for my 6 year old (my oldest daughter already has an ipod nano her grandparents bought her and she will not go near her sony - actually I don't think she's touched the sony since she got this over a year ago - I was a condemning skeptic - now I'm a convert)

Thanks for the heads up - I'm downloading it now :P

Ok, don't bother downloading it - it's got nothing to do with Playmobil, and it all looks a bit dodgy :P

I downloaded both of them.
The "smile" one is just pictures of smiles (the only Playmobil smile is the one used to advertise it - probably because he doeesn't have permission to use any of the photos he most likely took off the internet).
The other one is a few pictures from a few Playmobil expositions and conventions with collector set ups. Nothing really special.
