Hi
Does anyone know where this blue bear bridle comes from?
(http://img694.imageshack.us/img694/7430/picture015tg.jpg) (http://img694.imageshack.us/i/picture015tg.jpg/)
I can only find the orange one, from set 3632 - Gypsies With Dancing Bear (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=3632)
And a green one from set 3567 - Musician with Bear (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=3567)
Thanks
Damo :)

Perhaps a daft question:
but is it really by Geobra.
Could it be, by Antex or so?
On the other hand ... I think I saw that item before, but I can't remember where - :'(

I bought it whilst in Spain, so there is a chance it could be famobil :-\
Damo :)

I'm afraid that's probably it, Damo. I've searched for it every way I can think of and can't find it.
-
No luck in the spain/famobil section of collector 3rd edition... I will have a look at the other sections!
-
Hi
Thats it, you can now call it "Super Duper Rare SDR" or "Impossible to Locate Anywhere IIA" and sell it for $1000 and then hire yourself a servant to clean up your shed.
Rasputin "The Mad Monk"

Yeap! Ras has a good point! Can't find it anywhere in the collector... maybe I am too tired. I'll try again tomorrow!
-
Antex never released a set with this item.... so it could be famobil yeah... or Germany just run out of orange plastic and made it blue.... :-\
-
are you sure it's not painted?
-
Playmopalace, the creator of this scene couldn't say either where the blue briddle was coming from :

Thanks for all your help so far guys
I thought it might just be a case of me not looking properly, but it appears that we may have a real mystery on our hands :)

I really meant this guys!... haven't happened before? don't they change items color for no apparent reason?
-
I thought you were being funny! Sorry.

Everybody missed it !!
It is a genuine part produced by playmobil for box 3435 - The zoo.
According to Playmopalace who made this diorama about a medieval feast I posted in my previous message, the box contained 3 blue bridles. It was the case in the box he had in 1982 and also in the box he bought on eBay in 2008.
It doesn't appear on the official pictures of the box, but was part of the content.
-
Seriously!? I didn't know there were bear bridles included in this set! In a zoo?
-
WOW :o! Another mystery solved! Well done! So far, I don't know of any unsolved parts identifications, are there any that are still not solved known by anyone else? ???
-
So it was what I said..... the changed the color for no apparent reason. 0)
-
What?
-
I think it comes to a draw with no winners :(! There isn't an actual part number, so all it is is a bear bridle blue in color ;)!
-
HI
Did I miss something or wasn't the original question asked by Damo answered in post #15 by sweetking :hmm:
Rasputin "The Mad Monk"

Yes, it was answered. Why?

What? ???

Oh so finally the mystey is solved! I had thought of that set, as its the only one that seems to have bears appart form the medieval ones! Good job!
-
Hi
Isn't it quite odd of Playmobil to not even show one of them on the box. Sweetking said the set came with 3 of them and not one is pictured. In those days didn't the back of the box's usually have the contents listed.

Nope, back then the box did not list what it was contained in it... I can recall these bigger boxes were usually plain blue at the back!
-
It was like getting extra parts as surprises in a set! ;)
-
Thank you very much, Sweetking :) :) :)
And thank you everyone else for your efforts :) :) :)
Most interesting - although when I got it it came with the complete Klickie from set 3567 - Musician with Bear (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=3567)
Must just be coincidence :-\
