That's a wonderful photo.  The lighting is so realistic, just like torchlight.

Are there more to follow?

(I forgot to mention the background ... It's very alive. Is it a miniature, or a picture?)

Very cool too! :)

Thanks for all the wonderful replies friends!!  :) :)

The background is a ceramic souvenir from Mexico.  It looks like this:

If you turn it on its side, the guy kinda looks like he's riding a speeder bike, ala, Return of the Jedi.  This image is often associated with the whole "ancient astronaut" theory thing.

I have one too. Mine is made of a kind of resin.

It is quite a good copy of the lid of the sarcofagus of king Pakal, the famous ruler of Palenque.

He is descending down into the underground, into the jaws of the underworld god/beast (forgot the name).

Above him the mayan tree of life is depicted. It looks like a cross.

Von Daniken thought he was an astronaut.

Great pic by the way. Enjoyed it very much!!!

Thanks again to everyone for all the nice comments.  Here is another pic from the same shoot.  The rest of the photos just didn't turn out the way I hoped.  I thought about making this into a photostory way back when, but I didn't really know where to go with it...someday maybe.

Well, there has to be an ancient astronaut in that story!
