I was told today that a Playmobil Chrome Spray existed while ago, To re-touch antique chromed parts. Is that true? does someone know about it or own one of this?

There is a chrome spray, but it's not made by Playmobil.
This may be the thread I'm thinking of:

thank you guys, I'll read it carefully tonight, I do have silver chrome paint. The results are great, but I was curious about this version of the Playmobil spray. The guy who sold the forest feast to me told me so....

Perhaps this is a good alternative: http://www.gildedplanet.com/
When I used to build aircraft model I used a chrome paint that needed to be polished after applying. Got a very good shine. Almost like a mirror. Can't for the life of me remember the brand.

Hi Ali Thank you! I have try this gold and silver leafing technic, with poor results. It's very difficult and fragil.
I do know the paint that has to be polish after applaying (I also have a plane modelling past ;D) but it is not sold anymore in the country. I don't know why.... :'(
I have heard of another paint for plane models that I have to check tomorrow morning. I've seen very good results with it but it seems difficult to apply. But is the closest to playmo chrome. I'll tell you more tomorrow!
Thanx!! Gaston
