Before any one asks no you can't look up his kilt ..... it's not an X rated forum
-
Really great custom, Emma. I was going to say the first klicky with fabric clothes, but there has been one already which found its way into flatcat's collection
Is he MacPlaymo of MacPlaymo, head of the clan MacPlaymo?
(I do hope the word MacPlaymo doesn't infringe any copyright laws!)

Wow! Emma, this one's soooo great! Love the bagpipe too!
I wondered if I could add a tartan to a clicky for my William Wallace's freedom fighters. Now I'll try!
Did you use a special kind of fabric for the kilt? Like a handkerchief? Or is it cut from the real stuff?
Thanks for sharing!

Beautiful figure Emma, looks just right
There have been a few uses of cloth over the years. My Bride of Frankenstein a couple of years ago made use of cloth and white medical tape

And I keep going back and seeing more and more I love!
Did you customize the dirk at all?
It looks a little skinny towards the hilt. :sherlock:
And the pins are perhaps the best! (http://www.klickywelt.de/images/smiles/staun02.gif)
The feather in his hat, the boots, the torso... (I never would have thought of using him!)
The pouch under his belt...
All too cool! 8} 8} 8}

Ahhh another Trekkie! Bring back the repeats, you just can't beat wobbly sets and rubber monsters!

Hi it was very, very special material..... I cut it out from the side of a sewing kit bag I had :P
I wouldn't use real tartan as it's a very thick material. I've used hair scrunchies before or you can get wide ribbon in a tartan pattern that should bend easily enough.
.......Is he MacPlaymo of MacPlaymo, head of the clan MacPlaymo?
(I do hope the word MacPlaymo doesn't infringe any copyright laws!)
mmm he could be I think we need to ask Sylvia's thoughts on that. If he'd been in blue then he'd have been a Lamont - an old and noble clan from Scotland (Of which I'm a descendant)

Beautiful custom figure, Emma ! I only wish I was this talented :'(!
-
Without a doubt the best use of fabric on a Playmobil Klicky yet !!!
Bravo, Emma ...
And, your attention to detail is impressive as always ... (http://www.gardenwargamer.com/images/bowdown.gif)

Oh mY GOD!!!!!!!!
I love him!!! I never liked real clothes on Playmo but this is amazing Emma!!!
Congrats!
;D
-
Even for you, this is an unusually superior example; the dirk and sword are correctly aligned, and there is the bagpipe (generally considered a torture device, except for Amazing Grace). ;D
Speaking of which- Just as I was about to hit the send button, ¿guess what started playing on my MP3 player?
-
He is stunning Emma! Do I see a santa torso?
-
Scotch-a-licious!
-
he's perfect Emma!!
...when is Geobra oging to launch this as a special? :D let's brain-wash our kids with Scottish history first :P
-
He looks great, Emma! :)

Simply amazing creation, Emma! :wow: :wow: :wow: :wow: :wow: :wow:
Damo :)

Congratz on your work

Great work Emma! The bagpipes are indeed a very nice touch!
You're right, Gis, they are. I was so taken with the cloth kilt that I missed these - wonderful work -
I also missed seeing the dirk, too!
The decoration on the tam o' shanter and the shoulder are neat custom work, too, Emma.

Beautiful custom figure, Emma ! I only wish I was this talented :'(!
I'm not sure a tartan clad fire engine would be all that practical, Bill! ;D
-
Very well done, Emma!
Wow...Amazing.
Jimbo :hatoff:

He's a little beardy cutie!

Very well done Emma! Very creative and terrific idea!

Bravo! So well done!
I seem to recognize the torso.... My 4444 boat came with 3 pirates, including a very well-dressed pirate with dark red torso and painted-on belt.... is this that same pirate's torso?
Very well done, Ms. Emma! I love it!
-
mmm he could be I think we need to ask Sylvia's thoughts on that.
Ah, I wasn't thinking so much of Playmofriends as the "big Mac" of the golden arches.

Hi yes he's a pirate but at the moment I can't remember which set it is..... a gun boat I think.
Anyway the Clan has expanded and not just in numbers their waists seam to be getting bigger as well :-\

AWESOME EMMA! ;D ;D ;D
They are well fed... ;)
Really great! I like the guy with green,
He adds a lot of color. :)

Question: How did you make the bagpipe Emma?
-
Great customs Emma, however our Scots friends do wear their kilts a little shorter! :-[
Love the bagpipes. :wow:
I've been trying to name the tartan, but it's a little difficult to tell the exact colours, I thought it might be a Stewart tartan of some sort, but not sure.
Here's a link if you want to try to identify it from a piece of your mataerial.
http://www.houseoftartan.co.uk/house/reverse.asp - you can type in the colours as they appear on the material.
Junior made some bagpipes one day, I'll have to see if we still have a photo of them.

Question: How did you make the bagpipe Emma?
Hi the bagpipes start off as 3 wooden table legs tied together, then wrapped around with tartan and tied with string - sounds simple but they were very fiddly.
great custom. it would be nice to have a core of pipers for parades and police/ fireman ceremonies. P) :fireman:
Ahh Bill's already beaten you to that idea, I've made 4 Scots already but I just don't fancy making enough for a proper send off 8}
