Title: Hello from Cologne
Post by: Colt on August 25, 2010, 12:53:02
Hello from Cologne,
I´m  Colt and I joined playmofriends, because Richard invited me to become part of the Playmobil-club pilot group.
I am mainly collector of Western an Construction- Stuff, but in the last years I do more and more customizing. I have a big Western diorama at my house.

Some of you will  already know me being Mod of the Klickywelt forum.

Greetings from Cologne,
Colt alias Martin

Hello Colt,

"Richard invited me to become part of the Playmobil-club pilot group."

I do NOT have the authority to invite you or anyone else to become a member of the Pilot Group!

I have copied your email and my response for you to please read again. I apologize for any confusion.

Your email of 4 August:

Hello Richard,

yesterday I got an email from MacGyver an he wrote me, that you are looking for some Testmembers for the CollectorClub.

I would be an honour for me to help with the test run.

How much time do I need to spend every week? I am still a Mod at klickywelt.de an would like to stay in that function.

Please give me a short overview of what you want me to do.

At the moment I am on holidays, so a reply could take some time.

Best regards from the Northcoast of Germany,

Martin alias Colt

P.S.: If you remember, I am the one with the "Colorado Queen"

My response to your email:

Hello Martin,

Your name will be added to the list of candidates for the Pilot Group which begins 15 September.

All pilot group members will be expected to be active for the six month duration of the pilot program. What that means is that Pilot Group members should probably try to check their email at least once a day to see if there's anything happening that might require their attention and/or participation.

During the six month pilot program, we may want to launch some events in the countries where various members live. Help from members to plan, prepare and host these events will be appreciated.

Membership in the Pilot Group is voluntary. Participation during the six month test program is also voluntary. However, should any Pilot Group member be unable to continue their participation during the six months, they should let the other members know as soon as possible, so that the Pilot Group members can select a replacement from the list of candidates.

Martin, please let me know if these "expectations" of Pilot Group members are OK with you. If not, just email me and I'll remove your name from the list of candidates.

Thank you for your interest and all the best,
Richard

PS: Yes, I do remember your beautiful "Colorado Queen" !!!
=====

As you can see, I replied that your name would be added to the list of "candidates"!

All the best,
Richard

@Richard, sorry I had this wrong in my mind, you are right, it was McGyver who made the first contact with me, then I wrote the email to you to apply for the group.

Hi

Welcome to the group from Sonoma County California.

I use to watch that show and did not recognize the avatar at first, or second until Karim said his show name. I have a VHS too bad you could not send it digitally through  the web to my computer so I could watch it on the VHS  8}
