The effect is terrific. They look just as if they had been underwater for years.

May we have more pictures of it, please, including an overview of the whole structure? And where did the little tracked vehicle come from?

This is an amazing piece of work Alizobil!!! :wow: :wow: :wow: :wow: :wow: :wow:
How did you make them like that?
-
Very nice work Alizobil!
A problem for movie makers has always been aging costumes and props. Weapons and armour can be particularly tricky.
A friend of mine who started out with models, miniatures and fantasy art was (last I heard) working for movie makers, producing and aging armor (he helped produce the armor for Troy). He was particularly adept at the various processes for "distressing" armor and weapons.
I think you might have a future in making props and models for the movies, if that interests you.

Hello & thanks a lot!
Sorry I have not found time to come back here to explain how I did those accessories.
This is very simple, first I have chosen some broken or domaged accessories, so they will look older.
Second I used some paint like brown for the wooden parts
Third I used a special "bronze" paint for the other item that needed to look like old. This paint is very special as if it is combined with a reactive paint, it will become greenish...
Fourth I brushed some of that reactive liquid that interracted with the bronze paint and became green as real bronze wich is old..
Fifth I brushed all of them with some white or black paint directly on a piece of clothe, so it won't look painted, but just brushed where are the details...
Hope this is helpful!

Thanks alizobil. What is the name and maker of that paint?
