Thanks Martin!! Glad you liked them!! More to come soon on another thread...introduced properly!

Did you experiment with one of them, carrying around in your pocket, to see how much the colour is fading?

They look great! The bronze color makes them look very differrent.

But the bodies are bronze as well? And the legs and shoes? Did you paint them or are they from other sets?

Thank you for your question Ali!!! Yes legs and shoes are original bronze from both 4808 and 4807!!! Torsos too from set 4812!! No knight has bronze arms though...I used the gold arms from 4808 that makes it look closer to bronze.

This is a theory I actually have about playmobil thinking that collectors who like to customise their klickies might get more of these sets to make knights only out of bronze parts!!! That is certainly good money for the company!!!

The bronze torso can be found only on 4812, as I wrote already, but bronze legs, and of different design, can be found on 4808 and 4807. The gold hands are only in the 4808...and all armour in all sets is bronze!!! So, if one (like myself) wants to produce different knights but based on the same colour, he or she must get all the different knights!!! and if he or she wants to make loads of them, he or she needs to buy two, three, or four knights to produce a single new knight, made exclusively out of bronze parts!!! so playmobil sells more of these to collectors, and gets more money!!!

Nooooo you cannot reduce these magnificent knights to plain mercenaries!!!! They are too good for it!!! Maybe keepers of something that everybody wants, a balancing power between good and evil, a specia guard...anything but mercenaries...

Mercenaries Sir! Pricey , mean and hot and bothered mercenaries , full equipped and war hungry !!! I think your set up Sir Wolf is more of a comic related theme whereas mine is more ' realistic' with the few magical exceptions of dragons and some fairies ... ( remember i havent bought nor added dragonland to my mediaval city ). Mercenaries of the Wolf Clan I shall call them !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I stand by my position, definately not mercenaries!

In fact in my upcoming mediaval set ( i think it has been decided to set the mediaval first and then egyptians etc ) i think they will be the elite guard of the dragon king ( the golden knights king residing at the rock temple and in command of magical powers ( very limited in my set up) and dragons.... i think theywill make a fine elite guard , anotehr reason to keep my poor emperor worried ....

I agree, an elite guard is the perfect idea for these magnificent Knights! :)
