Playmobil City Fire Department District 1 Station 3 takes delivery of the newly completed custom Brush/Forest Firefighting Divisions woodland bulldozer. A special "Thank you" goes out to Playmofire who helped with providing the pictures, measurements, & information that was necessary for the Wizard's at the Playmobil City Emergency Apparatus Custom Division to complete the bulldozer as shown in this photo unveiling. BTW, there always seems to be a strong wind blowing in all of Playmobils themes causing the flags to forever wave !
I hope you like this creation!

Your assistance in the matter was monumentally helpful as I think you can tell, Gordon :)9! It can't be seen in the photos, but the scraper blade is mounted upside down to make it work for this application ;)!

Thank you for your positive review Jimbo :-[! This is my first major customization involving a complete paint job! I'm too much of a perfectionist, so any little debris that shows up during the painting process ,...............ends in a do over !

Hi Bill
The Custom job is beautiful. The ROPS turned out so perfect. . The paint job looks great as well and the blade, well the whole thing looks really good . I hope that thing has a turbo upgraded motor because that is one big blade. At first I thought the cage was from the old forklift/skidsteer but now I do not recognize it or the longer exhaust. What are they ?
Thanks for sharing your better than Playmobil's bulldozer :wow:

Thank you, Ras, & yes it has the most powerful engine available for the bigger blade ;)! The components you have mentioned are hand made custom items! I used the old fork lift cage as a starting base for the canopy!

this is a very good job

That looks great, I agree - a really sharp paint job.
Now you just need one of these for dealing with the smaller fires ;D

I have always loved Playmobil's small bulldozer (3757).
However, you've taken this little gem and "polished it" into a beautiful diamond, Bill!
This is a really GREAT custom ... :wow: :wow: :wow:
Very, very impressive!
Thanks for sharing.
All the best,

It has always been a favorite of mine for many years also, Richard, I remember seeing it for the first time in a small product catalog enclosed with a set ! I've always wanted to obtain several of the white ones that came in set 3277! Thank you for the positive review Richard!
They have become an other obsession, always bidding on one if it comes available for auction :-[!

How much are they going for now at auction?

It depends on the seller! I have paid up to $55.00 plus shipping for one MIB & the box was a C8 rating! I've seen one recently for 28,90 EUROS buy it now for a MIB item that was graded with a C7 box, & approximately 40,00 EUROS for International shipping! The seller accepted Pay Pal, but with a 5% transaction fee!

Holy poo-poo, Bill ... :o
Wish I'd bought more than one back in those days of yore ... Guess I shoulda bought at least a dozen!

Hi Bill
The $55 one seems reasonable compared to the other one @ 28.90 + 40 + 5% = 72.35 euros = $98.68 :o and you say LGB is expensive 8}
I too have always wanted to get one (or more) of those white ones from set 3277 :crossed: I was hoping Playmobil would have added a new larger bulldozer to the new mining sets. Every good open pit mining operation need a D-9 and why not a back-hoe for the crew as well.

I agree with you totally Ras! BTW, have you noticed the new 7444 add on small dumper has MAXX7 on it to coinside with the new mining pit big equipment :hmm:? A large D9 equivalent Playmobil bulldozer would be very appreciated by many collectors, but it will be awhile if ever before we see one :'(! LGB trains are only a dream for me but my $200.00 3526 fire engines, & $98.00 3757 bulldozers are always fulfilling my dreams :zz: :cloud9:!

Superb photos Bill of a wonderful custom :wow: Bet all your firemen were hoping they'd be chosen as the first to drive it!

HI Bill
I just got another dozer in the mail and this one is getting outfitted with your ROPS design. What did you use for the exhaust extension ? Or better yet do you have any pictures from the shop guys perspective ?
Thank you
