Hi,
Thought i'd pop in to say hi
33 year old single dad from the Netherlands. My 3 year old boy inspired me back into playmobil again.
We got our old playmobil down from the attick at my mom's and he adores it. Most of it is over 25 years old though ;D
Well i came here through the collectobil site, which sadly enough doesn't seem to have been updated in a while.
Hopefully i can contribute something here ;-)

Welcome from the UK, you'll find you have some fellow Netherlanders here to welcome you too.
Collectobil has n't been updated for some time because Bart who runs it went to work for Playmobil and hasn't time now to run the website as well.
The site for parts information is playmoDB - see the links section.

Welcome Martin!
Wish my mum had stored my old Playmo in the attic, instead she gave it all away when my back was turned!
Got my revenge though, I've bought a few more sets since!

Martin, do you have a picture and number of that set?

yeah it's the 3332 (http://www.playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=3332) Police motorcyle. trying to find it for a reasonable (read cheap) price on the net. not much luck. :-\
-
Hmmm ... :hmm:
Looks like it may have also been released as 3986.
(Is it the same one?)
see attachments
-
no it isn't even close. lol.
Click on the link, it'll take you to playmodb.
It's the black policemotorcycle it was a US set.
-
Sorry, Martin ...
I thought that you were talking about just the police officer that you had used as your avatar and NOT the motorcycle.
It appears that Playmobil also released the same police officer (admittedly w/out sun glasses), again with a WHITE motorcycle, as set 3915.

For some reason it looks like an old Target or TRU set :hmm:
I like that black bike also, it would go nicely with the black police car

I think that you may be correct, Ras.
And, if Martin ever wants some sunglasses to "upgrade" the police officer from sets 3915 and 3986, set 5815 was definitely a Target set!

Hm .. I should begin getting some of these, so as to make "futuristic" stories ...
Hey Martin F.!, nice to see that you're on Twitter :)

Well hello again :-)
Been away from this forums for a while, but it seems my kids truly love playing with playmobil a lot.
Over the last year i have bought them several sets, mostly secondhand.
They even prefer it most times above Lego :P
So i thought of this forum again and well, here i am again. LOL

Finally, :woohoo:
