I've just got the latest email newsletter from Playmobil UK. As well as a 20% off voucher on online orders over £30 from DS catalogue there's also the news that the 4055 mega-farm set is available in the UK (but at £199.99, so you can get 20% off that when you buy online). Back on sale by popular demand is the 4418 recycling truck. There's also an advert for Plamobil merchandise, and looking at this section on the website there's a lot of stuff I didn't know was available in the UK, for example, the large figures and the Egyptian china mug.

That's interesting about the "large" figures, Gordon!
At 24cm, they're about 9.5 inches tall. A bit more than three times the size of a "normal" Klicky, yet a lot smaller than the large display figures.
The large display figures seem to be too large for most home displays, yet these nine and a half inch figures seem to be a good size for most home displays. Did they give you a price?

I didn't see any of these five "large" figures on the Playmobil USA website.
Thanks, for the info, Gordon!
Here are the last two ...

Glad to help, Richard.
One thing I forgot to mention was that Playmobil Collector 2009 was also on the site.

Iv'e just taken advantage of the 20% offer and got my self a nice new mug for my PG tips in the order.
The 20% wasn't deduted off the price of the mug so it may not apply to any of the new merchandise.
-
I think the 20% off is only when you spend over £30.
The large figures were priced at £99.99 this morning, seams a large price?

One hundred Pounds for a nine and a half inch Klicky? ... :(o):
Surely, that must be an error ... :omg:
At the current exchange rate, that's about $165.00. And, that's just about the price that you might expect to pay for a five foot tall large display Klicky!
So, if it's not an error, then Geobra has lost their minds ... 8}

See my first post, Gary - it's on orders over £30 and you need the voucher number from an email newsletter. So no discount, I'm afraid. :(

My thought, too.

I spent over £50.00 ( free postage) I read the minimum spend of £30.00 and redeemed my code.
I also bought the collector book and a set out of the main catalogue the 20% didnt apply to those items either.
So if you try and buy one of those over priced figures I'm sure you want get the 20% off them because it seems that the offer doesn't cover the new merchandise or fan corner items.

They are not being made by Geobra but a company that makes collector figures. I have already seen them in real live over here in Antwerp but also last year in Barcelona for 110 euro (official playmo price in Belgium is 119 euro)

Thanks, HC ...
What are they made out of? Gold? ... ;D
All the best,
Richard

What are they made out of?
They are made of synthetic/artificial resin (Kunstharz) and limited to a number of 1000 figures each according to the German Playmobil website.
