I wonder if Geobra knows about this ...  ???

It is fantastically made though. They really look like the originals!

I wonder if these are actual customs or if the effects have been accomplished through manipulation of the images.  I tend to favor the latter explanation, especially since this seems to be the work of an ad agency which would have all the best digital tools at its disposal.  What do other folks think?

Image manipulation occurred to me, too, Indianna, and I'd agree with you 100%.

I'm not too sure. I think these are models - don't really know why ...

Great!!!

Thanks for sharing.

I think it's image manipulation, because of the "unnatural shine" of the striped trousers (cf. the right leg's knee of the dark pirate -- priate's point of view) -- the shine seems correct solely but not with the bucket right before it.

mmm - looking that close to the details; I guess you're all right. I also noticed that the light blue vest is rather (very) thin ....

mmm - pity though - it would be nice to have one of them
It would fit me better as a avatar  ;)

Definitely image manipulation, very cleverly done and a fantastic set up. There's something else going on too, the original of the 30 00 8850 black pirate has a hairy chest, but no hair on this guy's chest.

I particularly like bulging cheeks on the pirate to the right.

I was quite impressed with this photo also!!  One question I have is "Are there really playmobil turkey legs?"  The female pirate has one in her "fat" little hand and I want one too!!
